Go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
and download the version of iTunes for
your particular computer
(examples shown are from Windows version). Save it to a folder (or to
the Desktop) when you can find
it.
In this case, the Windows install file is called iTunesSetup.exe. Install iTunes by
double-clicking it.
Subscribing using
iTunes
After installing iTunes,
run it by double-clicking the iTunes icon.
select "Subscribe to Podcast"
under the "Advanced" menu:
In the "Subscribe to Podcast"
window, insert the following URLs:
After a few moments, iTunes will
connect to the TPC Podcast and download a listing of the available
sermons, etc. It will display the Podcast subscription as shown below:
If you click the right pointing arrow (inside red box above), iTunes will display all the
available Podcast items under the "Triangle
Presbyterian Church Sermon Archive" catagory (as shown below)
To download a particular sermon, click the "Get" button and
then allow iTunes time to
download the selection.
Downloading MP3 files
directly
The MP3 files can be
downloaded directly (without using Podcast
software such as iTunes) by
pointing your Web browser (Mozilla
Firefox or Internet Explorer)
to the address
and then downloading the file you want. For example, in Mozilla Firefox, you'd right click
on the file you want to download and then select "Save Link As" as shown below:
and then select the place to save the MP3
file (Desktop in this example):
and
then allow iTunes time to
download the selection.
